The Antonín Dvořák Memorial in Vysoká u Příbrami invites you to puppet theatre for children and their parents on summer Sundays. Weather permitting, performances take place in the castle park; in bad weather, inside the castle.

A story about the longing of a little mermaid. And about longing in general. And about how costly it can be to gain an immortal soul. And about how beautiful it is to be human.

Evelína cannot wait for her fifteenth birthday, when she will first see the world of humans. What unexpected desires and troubles this wish will bring, she has no idea. Will she win the prince's heart or gain an immortal soul? Will her heart be pure and brave enough?
