Orpheus lost Eurydice. But what did Eurydice lose? The most famous love story of ancient myth transforms into a confession about loss - about when the time comes to descend into the underworld and whether it must come at all. And about whether one can love a person who is no longer with us.
A staged concert for two voices seeks through live-sung arias a way out of despair. The fusion of music and words leads to reconciliation on the path between life and death - when the muse falls silent and sorrow finds its voice. This is the second part of the theatre cycle Virtues and Vices.
Direction and script: Petr Hašek and Vojtěch Franců. Set design: Kristýna Šrolová. Performers: Lucie Brychtová and Vojtěch Franců.
