The ensemble Barocco sempre giovane will perform a programme of four works in the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas: Sinfonia Al Santo Sepolcro by Antonio Vivaldi, Sinfonia Spirituosa in D major by Georg Philipp Telemann, Stabat mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, and Ave Maria by William Gomez.

Solo parts are sung by Helena Hozová (soprano) and Jolana Slavíková (mezzo-soprano). The dance component is provided by Klára Jelínková, who is also the choreographer, and the Dance Conservatory of Prague. The artistic director is Josef Krečmer.

St. Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc is one of the most important Gothic churches in Moravia. Its origins go back to the 12th century, though the current appearance largely reflects a neo-Gothic rebuilding in the 19th century. The tower, rising over 100 metres, defines the city skyline. The cathedral hosts regular services as well as occasional sacred music concerts.

The name - "Baroque always young" - reflects their approach to early music as something alive rather than merely historical.
