SLAM POETRY U ZACHA (open air) #4
The fourth edition of the open air slam poetry evening at Zach's brings stars of the Czech slam scene and fresh voices to the garden.
The programme features five performers:
- ANATOL SVAHILEC - Czech slam poetry champion (2014), Wikipedia editor, activist. Author of slam collections Emu mele maso, Přece se to nevyhodí and Motorové sáně.
- ŠIMON FELENDA - Finalist of the Czech slam championship, Duo slam champion (2019). A creator, rapper and journalist from České Budějovice living in Prague.
- MONOLOG - The youngest finalist of the Czech championship (2024) and a prominent figure of the contemporary Plzeň slam scene.
- MATHEUS - Finalist of the Czech slam poetry championship with a rap background. Frontman of the band LED'N'ICE, author of solo rap albums Před prvním infarktem and Domeček z karet. From Sokolov, living and working in Dolní Rychnov.
- LERITAS - A trained preschool educator whose slams are unsuitable for preschoolers. A slam poet with a main position at JAMU studio and a favourite hobby of neglecting JAMU studies.
The project is co-financed by the City of Plzeň.
