Honza "Tráva" Trávníček has summited six eight-thousanders - including K2 and Annapurna, most without supplemental oxygen. Petr Jan Juračka is a photographer, science communicator, and National Geographic ambassador who went from university beetle collections to the base of the planet's highest mountains. Together, during several expeditions, they ventured to places where oxygen, strength, and sensible ideas run out.

Twice Manaslu. Twice a helicopter. Once Broad Peak with oxygen "just to try". And finally a third return to Manaslu - this time together and with oxygen on their backs. The expedition took place in September 2026, and this show is about how it all turned out - or didn't.

The result is a raw, funny, and unexpectedly human account of friendship, hypoxia, endless rice, coffee, and situations you simply couldn't dream up at home over PowerPoint. This isn't a classic mountaineering lecture - it's Himalayan stand-up from places where mistakes aren't forgiven, but humor still works.

Petr Jan Juračka

A naturalist, photographer, traveler, and National Geographic ambassador. He works at the Faculty of Science at Charles University, where he focuses on science communication. He is the author of From a Photographer's Life, Atlantic Islands, and the award-winning book The Gentleness of the Himalayas (Hanzelka and Zikmund Prize). He has also contributed to several film projects, including a film that won a Student Academy Award.

Honza "Tráva" Trávníček

One of the most prominent Czech Himalayan mountaineers with six eight-thousanders and dozens of expeditions around the world. Co-founder of Czech Pub in Kathmandu, a guide to Nepal, and a storyteller who can blend extreme mountain experiences with humor, perspective, and tales from places most people will never reach.
