As his marriage begins to fall apart, he must step out of his shadow and become Captain Splendid. A story full of humor and sadness that doesn't shy away from questions about existence, and sentimentality barely escapes.

Karel Roden takes the solo role, carrying the entire monologue from beginning to end with the force of his acting.
