Sound Play (with Movement) - Workshops for Babies, Toddlers and Older Children

A movement-and-sound creative workshop for the youngest audience, led by musician Rosa Parlato (IT/FR). The programme is divided into two age-based blocks.

The workshop explores sounds moving through space - from microscopic details to sounds inviting full immersion in listening. Children create sounds connected to gesture - physical, dance-like, or graphic - and together improvise music in real time, shaped by the present moment and the resonance of the space.

0-3 years | 9:00-9:30
A block for the very young focused on listening to sound movements, their textures, melodies and rhythms. Parents are invited to share creative time with their babies and together attune to musical soundscapes.

3 years and up | 10:00-11:00
Play with the sounds of voice, body and objects - in a group, in pairs and in freely forming smaller groups. Children listen with eyes closed, play by simple rules and have space for improvisation.
