Singer-songwriter, lyricist and musician Pokáč will perform on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Doksy Open-Air Theatre near Kladno - for the first time in the history of this venue. For Pokáč, it is also a return to the Kladno region, where he grew up in Stehelčevs in his youth and studied at the gymnasium in Slaný.

About: Pokáč

Jan Pokorný, performing as Pokáč, was born on 25 July 1990 in Prague and works as a Czech singer-songwriter and lyricist playing guitar and ukulele. His body of work - characterized by irony and sarcasm with roots in everyday experience - positioned him among the earliest Czech performers to achieve mainstream success through YouTube. A graduate in software engineering from CTU Prague, this technical background occasionally influences his songwriting. He received the Silver Slavík award for Singer of the Year in 2021 and sold out Prague's O2 Arena in September 2022.
