Bardot Girls
Meda, Iva and Valerie are friends from university days, all turning twenty - three times over. Meda lives alone, battling a wild garden and her own life. Iva dreams of something more than watching her husband, who has elevated the sofa to throne status and laziness to a life philosophy. Valerie, meanwhile, on the other side of the world, effortlessly collects lifetime achievement awards in real estate - though she hardly feels that old.
It is Valerie who brings new energy and conviction to all three: if they don't start living again, no one else will do it for them. They catch their second wind - talking about a third after sixty is difficult - and set off on a wild party, to a coffee shop, and finally to a vineyard. There, after a few glasses, they discover they have been hiding one big secret all along. And the real adventure is just beginning.
A film full of laughter, wine, and the belief that age is just a number.
