Jitka Štěrbáková is a Czech pianist, singer, and cabaret artist living in France. A graduate of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in classical music, she continued her studies at the Conservatoire in Strasbourg, where she discovered the traditional form of cabaret and began to pursue singing, chanson, jazz, and pantomime alongside the piano. In her original arrangements, she combines the pianistic virtuosity of classical music with stylization and improvisation across genres.
Bohdan Prachař is a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist who plays drums, bongos, congas, cajón, yidaki (didgeridoo), and jaw harp. He has performed with numerous musicians, projects, and DJs throughout Europe and Australia, where he lived for five years and where he continues to perform regularly with the orchestra of the Aboriginal tribe Karajarri.
Together they present a chanson repertoire featuring songs in French (E. Piaf, K. Weill, F. Hardy), Czech (H. Hegerová, Radůza), English (P. Lee, R. Charles), and Spanish (I. Albéniz, A. Piazzolla). Intimate and dramatic cabaret songs alternate with lively Latin American rhythms, jazz-blues, and boogie.
