Odyssea

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was the king of the Greek island of Ithaca who, according to legend and Homer's poetry, invented the famous Trojan Horse - a trick that greatly contributed to Troy's fall and ended the exhausting siege of the city. After the battles end, he desires only one thing: to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

However, according to legend, his bold deeds angered the gods, who decided to make his return as difficult as possible. This is precisely why the word "odyssey" became synonymous with a journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it.

While Odysseus resists the gods, giants, the seductive sorceress Circe, and other perils, his wife Penelope faces men at home who want to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
