Matt Damon (born 1970, Cambridge, Massachusetts) is an American actor, screenwriter, and producer who broke through with Good Will Hunting (1997), co-written with Ben Affleck - the script earned them both an Academy Award. Over three decades he has starred in the Bourne series, the Ocean's trilogy, The Martian (2015), and Oppenheimer (2023), and in 2022 co-founded the production company Artists Equity with Affleck.
