Břevnov Historical and Villa Walk II
A guided walk starting from Usedlost Ladronka leads through a garden colony to early-republic villa development and continues along a 300-year-old pilgrimage route to Hájek. The route includes a visit to the Convent of Our Lady Victorious with its baroque cloister, a stop at the mound on Bílá Hora commemorating the events of 8 November 1620, and concludes at a reconciliation cross in the avenue of Czech exiles. Guide Jiří Hendrich will explain the transformations of Břevnov and Prague as a whole, and the paradoxes of the pre-White Mountain and post-White Mountain periods in relation to baroque architecture.
Route length is approximately 5 km (2-2.5 hours), with the walk ending near the Bílá Hora tram stop. The terrain is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Meeting point: in front of Usedlost Ladronka.
