Villa Quarter Baterie and Surroundings

A guided walk through a villa quarter that is home to houses of famous artists and houses designed by famous architects.

What awaits the tour participants?

- They will walk through an interwar villa quarter featuring homes by renowned architects
- They will learn about the famous residents of the quarter, including the architect of Prague Castle, a double agent, and a celebrated sculptor
- They will find themselves on the border between Břevnov and Střešovice and discover how Prague was historically divided
- They will see two unique churches, one functionalist and one Romanesque Revival
- They will be surprised by an original preserved interwar tobacconist's shop
- They will learn details about one of the most significant functionalist villas in the Czech Republic

- End of walk: At Müller's Villa
- Duration: 1.5–2 hours (3 km)

- The terrain is suitable for wheelchair users and strollers.
- Cancellation policy: Up to 24 hours before the start of the walk, a participant can reschedule their ticket to another date or send a substitute who registers under the participant's name. No changes are possible after that.
