Pavel Čadek brings his summer concert to Špindlerův Mlýn on Saturday, 25 July 2026, performing under the open sky. The singer and cellist plays cellofolk - music that weaves words and strings into an intimate setting. Špindlerův Mlýn, a mountain town in the Krkonoše range on the Labe river, provides a natural backdrop for this kind of performance. Čadek is touring three Czech dates in summer 2026, with this Krkonoše concert as the first. Admission is free. The concert takes place in Město Špindlerův Mlýn.

About the venue: Město Špindlerův Mlýn

Špindlerův Mlýn is a mountain town in the Giant Mountains, sitting on the Elbe River close to its source. Its history goes back to the 16th century, when miners and millers settled here - the town's name itself arose from a curious administrative error. Today it is one of the most visited ski resorts in the Czech Republic, with 26 km of downhill runs and 85 km of cross-country trails. In winter it hosts Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup events.

About: Pavel Čadek

Born on 28 December 1989 in Brno, Pavel Čadek is a Czech singer-songwriter whose distinctive approach involves accompanying his vocals with cello. He describes this self-created genre, which he terms cellofolk, as a fusion between Jaromír Nohavica and Apocalyptica. Though educated in theoretical computer science at Masaryk University, he ultimately pursued music as his primary profession. Among his four studio albums, Stepní vlk (2023) earned a shortlist nomination for the Anděl Award in the folk category.
