A year after the brutally suppressed uprising against the communist regime, the world of young Jewish boy Andor turns upside down. As battered Hungary prepares for the grand May Day celebrations, a man claiming to be Andor's true father enters his life.

The film was directed by László Nemes, Oscar winner for "Son of Saul", and is a cold-blooded study of the disintegration of one family and society as a whole. The screening is accompanied by a discussion.
