The closing event of the TANEC PRAHA festival will be a new work by Christos Papadopoulos, one of the most distinctive choreographers of the contemporary European dance scene.

The work combines fluidity and plasticity with sharp, explosive turns and gradually builds toward an energetic explosion that culminates in an ecstatic finale.

Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos builds his work from movement patterns drawn from nature - glacial drift, swarming flocks, the pulse of ions. His company The Lion and the Wolf ranks among the most distinctive voices in European contemporary dance, and the 2025 Rose International Dance Prize winner is currently touring new work across leading international stages.

On February 8, 2025, Papadopoulos was announced as the winner of the Rose International Dance Prize of London's Sadler's Wells - an award associated with a prize of 40,000 pounds - for the work Larsen C.
