Oáza Jenišov is a natural open-air amphitheatre in the village of Jenišov near Karlovy Vary, located close to the village centre beside a small pond. It is run by the civic association Oáza Jenišov z.s. and has a capacity of around 200 visitors. The venue hosts concerts, theatre performances, outdoor film screenings and other cultural events.

About: Jan Rak

Born on 9 February 1962, Jan Rak is a Czech physicist specializing in nuclear and quantum physics. He completed his studies at Charles University's Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Prague and subsequently conducted research at facilities in Dubna, Heidelberg, CERN and Brookhaven National Laboratory before obtaining a professorship at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, where he directed the Finnish contingent of the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. His scholarly contributions include over 500 scientific publications and the monograph High-pT Physics in the Heavy Ion Era (Cambridge University Press, 2013), and he regularly delivers public lectures on quantum mechanics' connection to consciousness and reality.
