Traditional wine and grape festival at Archeoskanzen Modrá in Velehrad. A celebration of local wine, traditional cuisine, and entertainment. The 30th anniversary edition of this popular event.

About the venue: Archeoskanzen Modrá

Archeoskanzen Modrá is an open-air museum near Velehrad reconstructing a Slavic fortified settlement from the Great Moravian period (9th century). The buildings stand on genuine archaeological remains, with their above-ground sections based on specific finds. Visitors can try their hand at old crafts, watch experimental metal smelting or pottery making, and take part in educational programmes. Traditional annual events include the Veligrad historical festival and the Day of Honey and Mead.
