Summer cinema Kultovka at Panelka in Luleč screens every Tuesday (and sometimes Wednesday) from May to September.

A full-length animated programme of Fimfárum by Jan Werich is based on the book of the same name. Witty and instructive storytelling revolves around fairy-tale and everyday themes – devils, miracles, but also ordinary human weaknesses and cunning. The puppet-story artwork captures the humour and atmosphere of the tales "Fimfárum", "Až opadá listí z dubu", "Franta Nebojsa", "Splněný sen" and "Lakomá Barka", which Jan Werich narrated on a gramophone record in the 1960s and published in book form under the title Fimfárum. ČSFD: 85%.

About: Jan Werich

Jan Werich (1905–1980) was a Czech actor, writer, and cabaret artist, one of the most prominent figures of 20th-century Czech culture. Together with Jiří Voskovec he formed the duo V+W, famous for their satirical plays at the Osvobozené divadlo. He was also a beloved film actor and author of fairy tales.

About: Ota Jirák

Ota Jirák is a Czech actor, voice artist and TV presenter who trained in puppetry at DAMU in Prague. In Fimfárum Jana Wericha (2002) he played the live-action narrator linking the animated fairy tales, a role he reprised in Fimfárum 2 (2006). His dubbing credits include the alien ALF, Manny the mammoth from the Ice Age series, and Obelix in Asterix and the Vikings.

Aurel Klimt was born on August 6, 1972 in Zilina, Czechoslovakia [now Slovakia]. He is a writer and director, known for Lajka (2017), Pád (1999) and Fimfárum Jana Wericha (2002).

Born in 1972 in Zilina, Slovakia. Between 1976 and 2000 he lived in Prague (Czech Republic). In 1999 he graduated from the Department of Animation at the Film and TV School (FAMU) of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He works on his own animated films as a scriptwriter, technologist, animator, editor, executive producer and director. He wrote and staged two puppet plays. He also makes the leaders for TV and commercials. Since 2000 he has been living in Malesov (75 km from Prague), where he established the Studio ZVON. Since 1999 he has taught at the Department of Animation at FAMU and he was also the head of the department 2006 - 2015.
