A cello and piano concert takes place on 4 July 2026 from 19:00 in the Knights' Hall. Linda Sítková (piano) and Pavel Verner (cello) will perform works by composers Bach, Bruch, Dvořák, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Reger, and Telemann. The castle café on the courtyard will be open during the concert. Admission: 280 CZK.

About the venue: Častolovice Palace

A privately owned Renaissance castle in East Bohemia, tracing its roots to a medieval water fortress from the 13th century. It was rebuilt into its current form between 1588 and 1615 by the Oppersdorf family, and has belonged to the Sternberg family since 1694. The tour takes visitors through twenty rooms furnished from the Renaissance to the Biedermeier period, with the Knight's Hall (300 m²) and its original coffered ceiling as the centrepiece. The grounds include an English park with a white fallow deer enclosure, a rose garden, a mini-zoo and a gallery.

About: Linda Sítková

Czech organist Linda Sítková (Ph.D.) trained under Prof. Jan Hora at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts and completed the Solistenklasse in Stuttgart; competition wins in Mülheim (2004) and St. Albans (2009) opened festival stages from Chartres to Oslo. At home she founded and artistically directs the Svatojánský varhanní cyklus series in Prague's Dientzenhofer church on the Rock.

The fifth season of the St. John Organ Music Cycle, of which Sítková is the founder and artistic director, takes place in 2025 as a seven-part series in the Church of St. John of Nepomuk on Skalka in Prague.
