Harro Erhart

The Rabas Gallery has organized an exhibition of artist Harro Erhart to mark the forty-year partnership between the towns of Rakovník and Dietzenbach. Erhart (1939–2024), born in Frankfurt am Main, lived and worked for fifty years in the German town of Dietzenbach. The exhibition, titled "Harro Erhart – Citizen of the World from Dietzenbach," runs in the Exhibition Hall at the Town Hall from May 10 to 24, 2026. The opening reception took place on the morning of May 10, 2026, and was enriched by a joint performance of the choirs Hlasy and TGS-Chor Dietzenbach. The gallery director Blanka Mouralová, Erhart's art advocate Horst Schäfer, and Dietzenbach's mayor Dieter Lang spoke about the artist's work, which was characterized by a commitment to crossing cultural boundaries and a deep concern for human dignity.
