Fichtl

A bitter comedy set in the mid-1980s, when life ran on a single track. Oil in petrol, freedom in unfreedom, and love in tracksuits.

A group of boys in a small town on an even smaller square experience a turbulent coming of age. Eda (Pavel Liška) loves Soňa. The others (Michal Isteník) also love Soňa. They have to march in a lantern procession at the Young Pioneers rally, decent music can only be heard on foreign radio stations, the motorcycle they long for is no longer being made, and mosquitoes bite terribly.
