Unikát
Bolka Polívka Theatre – White House, Brno
A bitter comedy about a man who spent his whole life acting - and forgot how to be himself. An evening when the premiere begins to fall apart: the text stutters, the mask slips, and the dressing room becomes safer than the stage.
Claude is an actor who can play anything - except himself. Behind the doors of his lavish dressing room unfolds a comic and painful struggle with fame and his own ego, bottle in hand. Claude fights desperately to maintain control over his role, but loses it over his own life. And on the very day of the premiere, he must face what he has been running from for years.
UNIKÁT is a tragicomic story about fame, vanity, and the courage to admit one's own failure - about an evening when an actor stops seeking applause and begins seeking forgiveness.
