Otakar Ševčík Festival 2026

The eighth edition of the Otakar Ševčík Festival takes place from 10 to 15 August 2025 in Horažďovice.

Otakar Ševčík worked at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries at prominent European and American schools. His pedagogical method is still considered one of the most comprehensive, and thanks to its universality, it serves string players in perfecting their technique.
