Odyssea

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was king of the Greek island of Ithaca who, according to legend and Homer's poetry, invented the famous Trojan Horse - the trick that decided Troy's fall and ended the exhausting siege of the city. After the battles end, he wants only one thing: to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

His bold deeds, however, angered the gods according to legend, and they decided to make his return as difficult as possible. This is why the word "odyssey" became synonymous with a journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it. While Odysseus resists the gods, giants, the enchantress Circe, and other perils, his wife Penelope at home faces men who want to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
