The Rozhlas road show with Aleš Cibulka arrives in Lipník nad Bečvou on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at Kulturní dům Echo. This is one of two Czech dates on the tour, bringing an entertaining gathering with the moderator and his guests. Kulturní dům Echo occupies a building from the early 20th century that originally served as a Sokol hall. After the war it operated as a cinema, but fell into disrepair after 1990 until the city undertook a major renovation in 2012-2013, investing nearly 32 million crowns. Today it functions as a modern cultural venue for the local community.

About the venue: Echo Cultural Centre

Kulturní dům Echo in Lipník nad Bečvou occupies a building from the 1920s that originally served as an Orel gymnastics hall. After WWII it became a cinema, but fell into disrepair after 1990. The town rebuilt it in 2012-2013 for nearly 32 million crowns and opened it as a cultural centre in December 2013. It now hosts concerts, theatre, balls, exhibitions and conferences. A giant yellow gramophone in front of the entrance has become the venue's unmistakable landmark.
