Indian in Danger — HaDivadlo, Brno

"A true Cherokee supposedly believes that wherever he stands, he is always at the centre of the universe. Except on a train - that's harder to believe."

This cult author's production by director Jiří Havelka and HaDivadlo draws inspiration from Einstein's theory of relativity and the "mental explosion" it triggered. A playful theatrical experiment with wit shows what Einstein's discovery means in practice for the space and time we inhabit - and therefore for us as well.

During a lecture, the theory may still seem clear. But in everyday reality, where everything moves and every movement affects everything else, things become considerably more complicated.

Lovers miss their train. Wheels, snacks and suitcases get stolen. The robbed man catches the thief - or wait, does the thief catch the robbed man? And where is this train actually going? To Zurich? But what if it's not going anywhere at all, and in the end Zurich comes to the train - with the usual delay?
