Guided Tour of Káznice Prison

The former regional prison on Cejl is a building with a history stretching back to the late 18th century. Originally standing outside the city walls, it gradually found itself in the heart of Brno - and few realize that even in the 20th century, political opponents of both Nazism and Communism were executed here.

Guided tours (60 min.) explore the stories of prisoners and guards, daily life behind prison walls, and the broader political and social contexts reflected in this place.
