Description was written before the event

We introduce you to soil. Soil is neither invisible nor silent, as one might mistakenly think, and the plants and animals connected to it are remarkable storytellers of what happens in the depths, hidden from human sight.

About the venue: PLATO městská galerie současného umění

PLATO is Ostrava's municipal gallery of contemporary art, housed in a former Bauhaus department store on Náměstí Msgre Šrámka. It presents exhibitions by Czech and international artists alongside educational programmes and public events. Among galleries focused on current art in Moravia, it stands out as one of the most prominent.
