TátoFest 2026

Hlohová

Following a trial "zeroth" edition in 2024 and the first official edition, another TátoFest arrives — an alternative music festival in the picturesque village of Hlohová in the Domažlice region. In the past, the festival has brought Prago Union, post-rock, Lenka Dusilová, and Znouzecnost.

The dramaturgy combines well-known names from the alternative scene with promising projects. Over ten artists and bands nominated for the Anděl award are represented, spanning genres from folk through rock to electronic and rap. Czech is the exclusive language for lyrics.

Acid Row — a stoner rock band and fresh winners of the Anděl music award for rock music, will close the festival on the main stage. Manon meurt — a genre-defying band from Rakovník moving between shoegaze, grunge, trip-hop, and ambient folk. Houba — a punk-rock legend from Ústí nad Labem with over a thousand concerts performed. Byt číslo 4 — a Šumperk-based band that in three years on stage has performed at major festivals and before a sold-out Lucerna, and is preparing the release of their second album. Čtvrt na smrt — the band of festival founder Honza Vacík is preparing a special setlist including the song "Táto", which they don't usually play. Atomy Nevadí — a young band focused on melodic guitar music with Czech poetry.

The festival is hosted by Anatol Svahilec — a performer, poet, and Czech Republic slam poetry champion.
