A criminal neo-noir thriller by the Coen Brothers (2007) follows Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin), who discovers a briefcase containing two million dollars in the Texas desert after a failed drug deal. The discovery triggers a brutal chain of violence - an unstoppable killer Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) and aging Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) pursue Moss's trail.

Bio Central is the last brick-and-mortar cinema in Hradec Králové, operating since 1929 under various names (Bio Slavie, Kino Jas, Kino Centrál). After a long break it reopened in December 2012. The large hall seats 384, the small hall 40. The programme covers mainstream and art-house films, live broadcasts of opera, theatre and ballet, a film club, and annual festivals such as Jeden svět, Dny evropského filmu and Cinema Open. In summer it also runs an open-air cinema at the Gayer Barracks.
