MKC Hulín presents a summer film screening at the Letní kino Hulín open-air cinema. On Friday, July 10, 2026 from 21:00, the Czech comedy "Somebody Likes It in Plzen" will be shown. Admission: 150 CZK. The film is not suitable for children under 12.

Blankets are available to borrow on site, and refreshments are provided in the venue. The screening takes place in any weather - raincoats are available on site.

About the venue: Letní kino Hulín

The open-air cinema in Hulín has been running since 1965 - the very first screening, the English film Kasař, took place on 17 July that year. The venue sits in the Mezivodí park and seats 450 people, with around 100 places under a roof for rainy evenings. Regular screenings run through July and August regardless of weather; a 5×15-metre stage also hosts concerts and other cultural events. The venue is operated by the Hulín Municipal Cultural Centre (MKC).

Po maturitě na průmyslové škole Martin pracoval 3 roky jako mikrofonista v České Televizi. Po ukončení pracovního poměru s ČT šel studovat na DAMU (loutkové a alternativní divadlo). Poté co vystudoval začal pracovat v Hradci Králové v Klicperově divadle, kde si ho všiml Vladimír Morávek a obsadil ho do jedné z vedlejších rolích ve smutné romantické komedii NUDA V BRNĚ (2003). Zahrál si zde zkušenějšího bratra mírně retardovaného hrdiny. V tomto filmu hrál po boku Miroslava Donutila, Arnošta Goldflama, Pavla Lišky a Richarda Krajčo.

Štěpán Kozub (born 1996 in Bohumín) is a Czech actor, comedian, singer, and director. He trained at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and has served as artistic director of Divadlo Mír since 2018. He is also part of the improv show Tři tygři and has released two albums with musician Jiří Krhut: Prásknu bičem and Přeježděný vztah.
