Miroslav Donutil (born 7 February 1951 in Třebíč) is one of the most popular Czech actors, with a career spanning more than fifty years. He trained at JAMU in Brno and spent seventeen years at the Divadlo Husa na provázku theatre before joining the National Theatre in Prague in 1990, where he became famous above all for Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters - the longest-running production in the theatre's history. Cinema audiences know him from cult films such as Cosy Dens, Black Barons and The Inheritance; he won a Czech Lion award for his supporting role in Traps (1998). He also performs his own storytelling one-man show, Na kus řeči.
At KVIFF 2026, Donutil presented the film The Chosen One and confirmed that the third season of Doctor Martin will not be made; at the same time, he announced the upcoming continuation of the series Mysterious Cases and a new series Men in Flight for TV Nova.
The presentation Na kus řeči in Litoměřice was postponed from April to June 2026 due to Donutil's health issues.
