Olomouc Quartet brings its concert Hvězdy Popu: Od Adele, Coldplay, Rihanny po Madonnu to Brno's Červený kostel on Saturday, 12 September 2026. The string quartet performs popular hits in new arrangements by candlelight, with a program lasting 65 minutes. Červený kostel, a Czech Brethren evangelical church built in 1863-1867, stands in central Brno on Komenského náměstí and its North German Gothic architecture provides a distinctive setting for this concert. The quartet is touring five Czech venues this year, with this Brno date among the final performances of the season.

About the venue: Red Church

The Evangelical Church of Jan Amos Comenius, popularly known as the Red Church (Červený kostel), stands on Komenského náměstí in the centre of Brno. It was built between 1863 and 1867 to a design by Viennese architect Heinrich von Ferstel in the North German Brick Gothic style. Upon completion it became the first large non-Catholic church in Brno. The three-aisled interior (45 m long, tower 51 m) features a marble pulpit, an altar, and a Rieger organ from 1887; its fine acoustics make it a regular venue for concerts and cultural events.
