The Kulturní dům in Uherské Hradiště is run by Klub kultury, a municipal cultural organisation founded in 1992. Its year-round programme covers theatre, concerts across genres, folklore events and balls. A permanent puppet stage for children opened in 2012, while adults can subscribe to a series of jazz and classical concerts. The venue also hosts the painting biennial Hradišťský plenér and Setkání - Stretnutie, a joint showcase of Czech and Slovak visual artists.

Hana Ulrychová is a Czech singer who, together with her brother Petr Ulrych, forms the folk-rock duo Javory. She has been active on the Czech music scene since the 1960s, and in 2024 celebrated both her 75th birthday and 60 years of performing together with Petr.
