Švihadlo - "Něco se láme" Album 2026

Czech reggae legends Švihadlo bring their new album to Kladno! The band, which won the Anděl Award in the Reggae & Ska category in 2006, is releasing their latest record "Něco se láme" in spring 2026 (album launch on March 5 at Rock Café Prague). For 43 years, Švihadlo has been playing reggae across the Czech Republic and rightfully stands among the pioneers of the genre in the country. They are equally at home on club stages and festival grounds, winning audiences with both timeless classics ("Zelený list", "Po tobě toužím", "Na Jamajce půl srdce mám") and fresh new tracks ("Stíny", "Laj laj laj", "Bez oken") that hint at where the band is heading.

The album "Něco se láme" features catchy reggae rhythms, playful arrangements, and Czech lyrics with something to say. The music and lyrics are by Petr Šturma, while producer Mr. Cocoman (Adam Lanči) brings a modern, contemporary sound. The result is likely the most refined, most modern, and most daring album in Švihadlo's history - and possibly in Czech reggae altogether. Music critics have given the album strong reviews.
