A tribute to Hana Hegerova takes place in Přelouč on 24 September 2026 at the Kino. Zuzana Němcová Šmejkalová performs iconic songs of Czechoslovak chanson with a deep voice and intense stage presence. This concert is one of nine dates across the Czech Republic, running from June through September. About the venue: Kino

The municipal cinema in Přelouč, run by the town's Cultural and Information Centre, has a history stretching back to the early 20th century - it started out as the "Bio invalidů", a cinema for WWI veterans, was renamed Jas after 1947, and was soon nationalised. Sound films have been shown here since 1932. A major renovation in 2015 brought full digital projection, including 3D screenings on a silver screen.
