Tigran Hovakimyan brings his stand-up show to Slaný on Thursday, 22 October 2026 at the Městské divadlo. The Armenian comedian performs a special filled with original humor and personal observations. This date is one of nine Czech cities on his autumn tour, running from September through October. The Městské divadlo in Slaný is a Neo-Renaissance building designed by architects Antonín Wiehl and Jan Koula, completed in 1882-1883 and formally opened on 30 December 1883. A Czech opening act rounds out the evening.

About the venue: Městské divadlo

A neo-Renaissance theatre in Slaný, designed by architects Antonín Wiehl and Jan Koula and opened on 30 December 1883. Between 1948 and 1990 it was known as Divadlo Zdeňka Nejedlého; a major reconstruction in 1999-2001 restored it to its current form. The auditorium seats up to 350. The venue operates as a stagione, hosting touring productions, lectures, and performances by the amateur company Slánská scéna.
