Petr Tomeček is an exceptional Czech musician, a recognized performer and one of the leading advocates of pan's flute playing not only in the Czech Republic. He began his musical career as a trumpeter, studied at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, and performed on prestigious stages including the Prague Castle Guard Band, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesia, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. The sound of the pan's flute captivated him so deeply that he devoted himself entirely to this instrument. He developed his mastery under the guidance of world-renowned interpreter Liselotte Rokyta and studied with renowned German virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoff.
