King of the Jizerské Mountains – Year-Round Sports Challenge
Jizerské hory, Bedřichov
King of the Jizerské Mountains is a year-round sports challenge inspired by legendary skier Standa Řezáč, who lives in the Jizerské Mountains and has won the famous Jizerská 50 three times. The 50 km route can be completed on cross-country skis following in Standa Řezáč's footsteps, by bike, or on foot – the challenge is open to movement enthusiasts regardless of their preferred sport. The competition is designed for anyone who loves healthy activity and the Jizerské Mountains. Every participant who completes the challenge receives a unique cap signed by legendary Standa Řezáč and the title of King (or Queen) of the Jizerské Mountains. The challenge takes place during the winter season in the picturesque setting of the Jizerské Mountains around Bedřichov, where the Jizerská Magistrála begins – a maintained cross-country skiing trail network with a total length of over 180 km.
