Petr Švancara brings his new comedy show Já su já to Olomouc, performing at Kino Metropol on Thursday, 17 December 2026. The historic single-screen cinema in the city centre has hosted film premieres, festival screenings and live performances since 1933. This show is part of a nine-city tour across the Czech Republic. Švancara shares stories from his football and personal life, behind-the-scenes tales from television programmes and encounters with audiences. The programme is new, filled with humour and unexpected narratives drawn from his varied experiences.

About the venue: Kino Metropol

Kino Metropol is the last classic single-screen cinema in Olomouc, founded in 1933 as Bio Sokol. Located in the historic city centre, it screens film premieres, festival hits, documentaries, and hosts live events such as theatre performances, concerts, and talk shows. It is a partner of the Academia Film Olomouc (AFO) and PAF festivals. In 2011 the foyer was renovated to include a cinema café and children's corner, and the cinema was fully digitised.
