Writer Dmitry Bykov in Prague: Poetic Concert "Not a Word About Love"

Dmitry Bykov — poet, writer, publicist, lecturer, film critic, screenwriter, longtime host of the "Pryamaya Rech" project, moderator of the author's programme "Odin", co-creator of the "Grazhdanin poet" project, laureate of numerous literary awards, literature pedagogue and visiting professor at Princeton University — comes to Prague with his new author programme "Not a Word About Love". The programme features poems written over the last three years, reflecting the main themes of our time: war, age, the feeling of relived youth, and conversations with God. As the title suggests, these texts do not contain traditional lyrical themes such as love or homesickness. An evening with Bykov is always more than just poetry reading — it is a living conversation about our times, humanity, and the meaning of things. The event takes place at Hotel Don Giovanni Prague, starting at 19:00, with an expected duration of approximately 90 minutes. The programme is in Russian.
