The multimedia show VIVALDIANNO Shining Venice featuring Michal Dvořák arrives in Brno on Sunday, 6 December 2026 at Janáčkovo divadlo. This is one of three Czech tour dates, guiding audiences through the life of Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi via 3D projections, animations, and live music. The new version features a redesigned visual component with interactive effects. Janáčkovo divadlo, the largest building of the National Theatre Brno constructed in the 1960s, sits on Rooseveltova street in the city centre. Its monumental architecture provides an apt setting for this ambitious production.

About the venue: Janáček Theatre

Janáček Theatre is the largest of the three buildings of the National Theatre Brno. Built in 1961–1965 to designs by architects Otakar Oplatek and Jan Víšek, it was ceremonially opened on 2 October 1965. The monumental building in the Brussels style adjoins the Koliště park and is used primarily for opera and ballet performances. The auditorium seats 1,155 and is arranged as a stepped amphitheatre. The building underwent a full reconstruction in 2016–2017.
