About the venue: Valtice Palace

Valtice Castle is a large Baroque château in South Moravia that served as the seat of the ruling Liechtenstein princes from the late 14th century until its expropriation in 1945. It acquired its present form through costly reconstructions in the 17th and 18th centuries, carried out by leading European architects. Since 1996 it has been part of the Lednice-Valtice Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can explore guided tour circuits, a Baroque theatre, the castle chapel, and the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic housed in the castle cellars.

About: Petra Börnerová band

Petra Börnerová band is a Czech-Slovak folk-blues project led by singer and accordionist Petra Börnerová and Slovak musician Tomáš Bobrovniczký. The group performs original and cover songs on the border of folk and blues; since 2024 they have collaborated with Ukrainian double bassist Taras Vološčuk. Petra Börnerová has released seven albums and performed across Europe, while Tomáš Bobrovniczký was named Bluesman of the Year 2012 by the Slovak Blues Society.

About: SAKOBI

SAKOBI is a Czech jazz trio of saxophonist Radek Zapadlo, double bassist Vilém Spilka and drummer Martin Kleibl. The group debuted in 2024 with the album Banzai! on Bivak Records, followed by a second record, San. Spilka, primarily a guitarist, only took up the double bass during the pandemic.
