Emerged from the Shadows: Zorka Ságlová

The Emerged from the Shadows lecture series has found a permanent home at the Studio of the Janoušek couple — audience interest has brought about the third edition of talks dedicated to Czech and Czechoslovak women artists of the second half of the 20th century.

The series presents portraits of painters, sculptors, illustrators, architects, and designers, examining their work and the context of the era and environment in which they lived and worked. The aim is not superficial adoration, but to repay a debt to public awareness of their artistic legacy.

This evening is dedicated to Zorka Ságlová. She will be introduced by art historian Markéta Čejková.
