About the venue: Kozel State Castle

Kozel Castle is a Classicist hunting château built between 1784 and 1789 by architect Václav Haberditz for Count Jan Vojtěch Černín of Chudenice, the Chief Huntsman of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The single-storey four-wing building around a courtyard was soon extended with a riding hall, chapel, footmen's quarters and stables designed by Ignác Palliardi. A national cultural monument since 2002, the château offers guided tours of its original interiors, a castle theatre, a library and an extensive landscape park.
