Brutalist Vršovice: From Eden to Chemapol
A special one-time walking tour of Vršovice focused on late 20th-century architecture and brutalism — featuring large volumes, concrete, metal, and public artworks such as sculptures and mosaics among residential buildings.
The route runs from the Eden Cultural Centre through the Vlasta housing estate to Chemapol. Your guides are Kateřina Knoblochová and Matouš Pudil, a brutalist architecture enthusiast and author of the Instagram profile PRGbrut. The meeting point is in front of the Eden Cultural Centre.
This is a benefit walk — ticket proceeds go towards the restoration of the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows. Children under 15 enter free, and strollers are welcome, though the terrain is more challenging for them.
In case of low interest, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk up to 48 hours in advance. Information about any cancellation will be posted on GoOut, the Facebook event page, and on the prazdnedomy.cz website in the walks section.
