Prague Tomorrow? Affordable Housing in Prague
CAMP - Centre for Architecture and Urban Planning, Prague
Can a teacher, healthcare worker, or firefighter afford to live in Prague? And if not, what can the city realistically do about it?
Affordable housing is one of the most pressing issues facing Prague's municipal government today, yet one of the least clearly explained. The debate will focus on how municipal rental housing projects are created, who they are intended for, and how they are financed. It will also present what has been accomplished in recent years, what projects are currently in preparation, and how the city is thinking about the strategy for developing municipal housing construction in the coming years.
The event is held in cooperation with the Prague Development Company.
