About: Karel Gott

Karel Gott (1939–2019) was a Czech pop singer widely known as the "Golden Voice of Prague". He was one of the most celebrated performers in Czech popular music history, winning the Zlatý slavík (Golden Nightingale) award a record number of times. He was also well known internationally, particularly in German-speaking countries.

About the venue: Theatre U22

Divadlo U22 is a drama theatre with a café in the Praha 22 – Uhříněves district, operated by DDM Praha 10 – Dům UM. The auditorium seats 296 (including a balcony) with up to 20 additional seats. Alongside theatre performances, the venue hosts concerts, children's fairy-tale shows, dance courses, balls, carnivals, lectures and festivals. The foyer is also used for exhibitions and a lobby bar provides refreshments.
